In the search for the optimum site layout, site content, most searched keywords and anything else that is required to enable your site to get to the top of the search engine rankings, there is always the search for the ‘holy grail’ solution.
A whole science, market or call it whatever you like has emerged called SEO.
(Which stands for Search Engine Optimization). But fear not, that is the last I am going to mention of the subject.
What would happened if say you did the following:
1. Take a really really naff Romanian song.
2. Take one totally unknown ‘ordinary’ guy and sit him in front of his web cam.
3. Let him perform the actions to the song as if he is singing it, and record it via his webcam.
Erm? nothing interesting about that I hear you say. Well, not really.
You can check it out here, but before you do, consider the fact that after he put the video on his site, it received 2 million hits in hardly no time at all, and that number is still growing (about to be increased by you, no doubt).
It has spawned a number of replies, it has been copied, mimicked and dare I say achieved ‘cult status’.
Warning: After you have watched the 4th or 5th version of the damn thing, the song starts to grow on you and it gets hard to resist singing the damn thing for the rest of the day.
