It is so cold outside today. Well cold in UK terms that is. The forecasters are predicting snow for our area for the next 5 days at least, but it will probably be nothing more than a heavy frost.
It hardly ever snows in the UK these days, (well down south). Nothing like it use to do when I were a lad. I always tell people that it use to always snow around my birthday (early March), but I can’t remember the last time that it did. (Being out of the UK for a few years didn’t help).
The kids are hoping for 10ft of snow so that their weeks holiday gets extended, but I reminded them we need less than an inch to completely shut down the whole country.
