It is 07.15am and my wife will be home from work in about 45minutes, and I have slept all of an hour all night.
Not only my back keeping me awake this time though. When I finally got comfortable and started to nod off, #1 son starts snoring his head off, followed by #2 son talking in his sleep (or rather shouting). That made me laugh, especially because Tiarnan manages to talk in funny voices even when he is asleep.
Then to top it all off, #1 dog (Bruno), starts snorring under my bed !!! Now that really made me laugh. But the final straw was when he snored, and promptly farted… I gave up on sleep at that point and assumed my position on the sofa. Threw some more logs on the fire and attempted to grab 40 winks.
Roll on Tuesday…
